You can share your preferences, including the type of service, hymns, music, or any personal touches, and we’ll ensure your plan reflects these choices. A Golden Charter plan is available to all UK residents, regardless of age or health.

Your payments are held securely in the Golden Charter Trust, managed independently by a Board of Trustees. With almost £1.2 billion under management, the Trust ensures your money is protected and used to cover your plan’s services when the time comes.

Third-Party Costs
While most funeral director services are covered, there are some essential third-party costs to consider — services outside our control that must be paid at the time of the funeral.
Depending on your plan, Golden Charter may include a contribution towards these:

Cemetery fee (opening of new or existing grave)
Other optional costs might include:

Purchase of grave or lair

Organist or soloist fees

You’ll only pay more at the time of the funeral if these third-party costs exceed the original allowance or if they rise faster than your plan’s growth.
Once your plan is fully paid, our funeral director’s services are guaranteed, regardless of future price increases.
